Will I see any animals on my eco tour?
On your tour, you may see common wildlife such as sea turtles, conch, jellyfish, juvenile lemon or nurse sharks, stingrays, star fish, herons, egrets, pelicans and a variety of other fish and birds. Please keep in mind that sighting wildlife is not guaranteed as these animals are in their natural habitat and not on display in an exhibition. However, the more you explore the channels of mangrove cay, the greater your chances of sighting wildlife will be.
Will I get Wet during my excursions?
Although our guests usually remain quite dry, all participants and any belonging carried in the kayak are subject to getting wet. Valuable goods brought with you should be left on shore in a safe place.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes. Our clear kayaks hold a total combined weight of 400lbs.
What is included in my eco tour?
The Eco Tour excursion is inclusive of clear kayaks, paddles, life jackets and cold bottled water.​
What is the age limit for eco tour?
The minimum age requirement for eco tours is 3 years old, however, all children and teenagers must be accompanied by an adult at all times and the ability of a child to sit in a kayak for the duration of the tour is at the sole discretion of the parent.
What should I wear or bring to my tour?
At Clear View Kayaks, we pride ourselves in committing to the health and safety of both our guests and marine life, therefore we encourage you to wear and bring sun protective clothing, swimsuit [optional], reef friendly sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, beach towel & your camera, of course 📸.
- Tanning lotion is prohibited
- No shoes allowed with the exception of water shoes
- No sharp or metal objects allowed on board
- No paper or plastic materials allowed. This is to ensure that the pristine waters and wildlife of our nature reserve remain clean and healthy
